Volume 2 of the existing records likely corresponds to most of what was called Minute Book 4 in the 18th century. It is volume two of the existing original records, because the first two Minute Books are lost. It covers the period from 1732 through the beginning of 1748, overlapping chronologically with the end of volume one. Some of the records for 1737 and 1745 became separated from the rest at some point and have been labeled Volume 3 by Library and Archives Canada. They are being transcribed separately.
